Image of Challis Chronology

Radiocarbon assay dates the bison bone to approximately AD 1155. The recovered artifacts range from arrow points common to the 12th century AD up through later arrow point styles and to glass trade beads dating to approximately AD 1860. The sites were no used for long term camping which probably occurred in the immediate vicinity.
