Wahmuza overlooks the Fort Hall Bottoms on the Fort Hall Reservation. Vegetation on the site consists of sagebrush, juniper trees, and a variety of grasses. Vegetation in the Bottoms is lush consisting of dogwood, willows, cattails, reed grass, snowberry, squaw bush, wild rose, serviceberry and a few birch trees. The creeks in the Bottoms are fed by springs and they do not freeze in the winter therefore, they attract game animals that could be hunted by local winter residence.
