Large lanceolate spear points with contracting bases, the bottom of which is often slightly concave. The lateral edges of the base are often ground smooth which gives them similar characteristics to the much earlier lanceolate points (for which they have often been confused). They usually exhibit parallel-oblique flaking patterns which is different from the earlier similar forms.
