The Simon Clovis Cache is a large collection of Ice Age spear points and other stone implements. It was accidently uncovered in 1961 by a road grader constructing a road to an agricultural field near Camas Creek in South-central Idaho. The collection of stone tools consists of approximately 60 individual items, eight of which are beautifully finished Clovis spear points. The cache has been the subject of several publications however the best and most complete summary is in a 2007 Master of Science thesis in the Department of Anthropology, Idaho State University, by Paul Santarone entitled The Simon Clovis Cache: History, Technology, Habits and Expert Artisans.
